R-MAC Motors respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, what we use it for, how long we keep it and how you can control it.

    Who we are

    R-MAC Motors is an importer and reseller of luxury cars in Mozambique and is responsible for the processing of the personal data collected on this website.

    The company's contact details are in the website footer and on the Contacts page.

    What data we collect

    We only collect the data you send us yourself, through the forms on the website.

    • Contact form: name, phone number, email (optional), message and the vehicle you are interested in. When you submit it, the company's WhatsApp opens with the message already written, so you can send it from your phone.
    • Sell us your car form: vehicle details, condition and documents, asking price, photographs (3 to 10), name, phone number, email (optional), city, contact preferences and your consent. This data is stored on a company server, under a reference (for example, VD-20260921-K3F9).
    • Import form: the make and model you want, budget, timeframe, a link to a listing (optional), reference images (optional) and your contact details.
    • Browser preferences: the language and currency (MT or USD) you choose are stored locally on your device.

    Cookies and tracking

    This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Your language and currency preferences are stored on your own device and only serve to remember them on your next visit. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

    If you arrive on the website through the link of an influencer who works with us, your browser stores a first-party cookie, rmac_ref, holding only that influencer's name and the date you arrived. It lasts for the period set by R-MAC Motors (60 days by default), does not identify you and is used only to count, as totals, the visits and requests each influencer brings us.

    What we use the data for

    The processing is based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. You can withdraw your consent whenever you wish.

    • Answering your request or message.
    • Appraising your vehicle and making you an offer, or finding and proposing a vehicle to import for you.
    • Managing the purchase, sale or import deal we may agree with you.
    • Complying with the legal obligations the company is subject to.

    Who we share it with

    We only share data with service providers needed to run the website and to get in touch with you, such as hosting and communication services (for example, WhatsApp), and with the competent authorities when the law requires it.

    We never sell your personal data.

    How long we keep it

    We keep the data for as long as it is needed to handle your request and any deal that results from it, and afterwards for as long as the applicable Mozambican legislation requires. Once that period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

    Your rights

    At any time, you can:

    • Access the personal data we hold about you.
    • Ask for wrong or outdated data to be corrected.
    • Ask for your data to be deleted.
    • Object to the processing or withdraw the consent you gave.

    How to exercise your rights

    Write to us or call us using the contact details in the website footer or on the Contacts page. If your request comes from a form, include the reference you received, so we can find it faster. We may ask you to confirm your identity before replying.

    Security and minors

    We take reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is completely secure, so please do not send through the forms any information that is not needed for your request.

    This website is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

    We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page and the version in force is always the one published here.
